Babbu
First-time exhibitor Babbu’s mix of cute, feminine clothes and accessories in luxurious cashmere was proving popular with visitors in the Fresh area.
Babbu was set up in Italy a year ago as an accessories brand. It has since expanded to include women’s apparel.
The collection is inspired by dolls, which feature as appliqués on rectangular and rounded cashmere shoppers.
Childlike motifs such as cherries and ladybirds are appliquéd on bags and lingerie.
The 20s-influenced clothing line features a drop-waisted dress updated in wool.
Colour is bright and bold, with pillar box red, teal, bubblegum pink and acid yellow.
